Scotti’s Steak House was founded by Antonis Kyriacou back in 1968. Antonis, like so many Cypriots of his time, left Cyprus in the early 1950s and went to England for a better future, Having gained valuable experience in managing various steak houses there, he finally decided to come back to his roots and open a restaurant in Cyprus.
Limassol is known as “the by-pass” frequently used mostly by Britons who were living near by. He called it “Scotti’s”, which was his fathers nickname, due to his fair complexion and hair.
Roger Dawson, a very well-known author, mentions in his best seller book “Emerald Aphrodite”; “Scotti's is an institution here, part of the establishment”. Scotti’s Steak House has been synonymous with great steak and hospitality. Today we continue to run the family business with the same vigor and enthusiasm as our father did. |
